In a bid to enhance the efficiency of revenue offices in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar district, Deputy Commissioner Aashika Jain has constituted a Disciplinary Cell to address grievances related to revenue officials and staff. The cell, headed by Assistant Commissioner (General), will have a two-way functioning system - one for revenue officers and another for other staff.
Speaking during a review meeting at the District Administrative Complex, SAS Nagar, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized that the performance of revenue officials and staff would be ranked as "Good" or "Bad" based on grievances related to them. She directed Revenue Officers to dispose of complaints related to Revenue Department works carefully and diligently to ensure timely disposal.
To ensure seamless functioning of revenue offices, the Deputy Commissioner directed Revenue Officers to make arrangements for link officers to work as replacements in case of leave of Revenue Patwaris. Revenue Tehsildars were directed to relieve Revenue Patwaris and other staff by obtaining a charge report in time to effect their transfer orders timely.
The Deputy Commissioner also directed Sub Divisional Magistrates to submit collector rate proposals on a sub-division-wise basis, with clear remarks and logic in case of rate reduction in a particular area. Revenue Officers were asked to expedite pending mutations and jamabandis to update revenue records regularly.
Taking note of pendency in Zirakpur and Kharar, the Deputy Commissioner directed officials to submit an action-taken report by next week. She also directed officials to expedite mutations related to National Highway acquisitions. To boost Svamitva (ownership documents), the Deputy Commissioner asked Sub Divisional Magistrates to review the progress of drone flying and final mapping on a weekly basis.
The meeting was attended by ADC (G) Viraj S Tidke, SDM Derabassi Himanshu Gupta, SDM Mohali Depankar Garg, SDM Kharar Gurmandar Singh, Assistant Commissioner (G) Harminder Singh Hundal, and Revenue Officers from Tehsils and Sub Tehsils of the district.

ਸਾਹਿਬਜ਼ਾਦਾ ਅਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਗਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਲ ਦਫ਼ਤਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਾਰਜਕੁਸ਼ਲਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਆਸ਼ਿਕਾ ਜੈਨ ਨੇ ਮਾਲ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਿਪਟਾਰੇ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸਨੀ ਸੈੱਲ ਦਾ ਗਠਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਸਹਾਇਕ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ (ਜਨਰਲ) ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਾਲੇ ਸੈੱਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ-ਪੱਖੀ ਕਾਰਜ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ - ਇੱਕ ਮਾਲ ਅਫਸਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਹੋਰ ਸਟਾਫ ਲਈ।
ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕੀ ਕੰਪਲੈਕਸ, ਐਸ.ਏ.ਐਸ.ਨਗਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਸ਼ਨਿੱਚਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸਮੀਖਿਆ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਬੋਲਦਿਆਂ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ 'ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਮਾਲ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਦੀ ਕਾਰਗੁਜ਼ਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ 'ਤੇ "ਚੰਗਾ" ਜਾਂ "ਮਾੜਾ" ਦਰਜਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਾਲ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਦਾਇਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਮਾਲ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਪਟਾਰਾ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਿਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪੂਰੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਅਤੇ ਤਨਦੇਹੀ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ।
ਮਾਲ ਦਫ਼ਤਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਕਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਰਵਿਘਨ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਮਾਲ ਅਫ਼ਸਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਦਾਇਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਮਾਲ ਪਟਵਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਛੁੱਟੀ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਸੂਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿੰਕ ਅਫ਼ਸਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਦਲ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ। ਮਾਲ ਤਹਿਸੀਲਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਦਾਇਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮਾਲ ਪਟਵਾਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਦੇ ਤਬਾਦਲੇ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਿਰ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਿਰ ਚਾਰਜ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ਾਰਗ ਕਰਨ।
ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਉਪ ਮੰਡਲ ਮੈਜਿਸਟਰੇਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਹਦਾਇਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁਲੈਕਟਰ ਦਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਟੌਤੀ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਟਿੱਪਣੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਤਰਕ ਨਾਲ ਸਬ-ਡਵੀਜ਼ਨ-ਵਾਰ ਆਧਾਰ 'ਤੇ ਕੁਲੈਕਟਰ ਰੇਟ ਪ੍ਰਸਤਾਵ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਨ। ਮਾਲ ਅਫਸਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਕਾਇਆ ਇੰਤਕਾਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਜਮਾਂਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਜ਼ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮਾਲ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਯਮਤ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਅਪਡੇਟ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ।
ਜ਼ੀਰਕਪੁਰ ਅਤੇ ਖਰੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਕਾਇਆ ਪਏ ਇੰਤਕਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਨੋਟਿਸ ਲੈਂਦਿਆਂ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਗਲੇ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਤੱਕ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਸੌਂਪਣ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਹਾਈਵੇਅ ਐਕਵਾਇਰ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਇੰਤਕਾਲ ਜਲਦੀ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਵੀ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਸਵਾਮਿਤਵਾ (ਮਾਲਕੀ ਦੇ ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜ਼) ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਲਾਰਾ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਉਪ ਮੰਡਲ ਮੈਜਿਸਟਰੇਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡਰੋਨ ਉਡਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਾਈਨਲ ਮੈਪਿੰਗ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਗਤੀ ਦੀ ਹਫਤਾਵਾਰੀ ਆਧਾਰ 'ਤੇ ਸਮੀਖਿਆ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ।
