The District Election Officer (DEO) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan on Thursday convened a meeting of AROs and other concerned Officers to review the preparations for upcoming Lok Sabha elections in the district. The meeting meticulously discussed various key aspects of the poll preparations including accessibility and other essential facilities of polling stations-post flash floods and their immediate restoration.

The DEO, while examining the key aspects of the election preparations directed concerned officers to restore the accessibility and other facilities at polling stations which were damaged by recent flash floods in the districts in a time bound and well coordinated manner. She directed BDOs to be in the forefront and assist AROs and Tehsildars, ensuring effective coordination and addressing any concerns regarding the necessary facilities.
