The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Chandigarh slammed the Governor for his recent remarks about free water and free parking facility in Chandigarh and said that it is very disappointing that he didn't even consider the files before rejecting them. Addressing a press conference from the party office in Chandigarh on Wednesday, Chandigarh Mayor Kuldeep Kumar said that just two days ago we held a press conference and informed you that free parking facility and 20,000 liters of free water will be given to the people in Chandigarh.
This decision of ours received a lot of love from the public as it came as a great financial relief for the common people. We were hopeful that such public welfare decisions will be approved by the local secretary of government and the governor without any issue. soon it would be officially approved.
He said that but it is very unfortunate that the BJP's nominated people do not like the decisions taken in public interest. Without even seeing the files of these agendas and without discussing anything, it is sad that he didn't even see the need to discuss such important public matters before commenting on them.
The mayor added that this dictatorial attitude of the governor is not even surprising. He just flatly refused to even think about the matter because BJP's nominated governor has no respect for the elected representatives of the people. Due to the dictatorial nature of the Bharatiya Janata Party their leaders are unable to show any respect towards our democracy and elected representatives.
He said that on the instructions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, LG in Delhi stops the files of public interest works of the Arvind Kejriwal government there. But we are giving free water in Delhi. If it is possible in Delhi to give free water to such large population then it is totally possible in Chandigarh too. We have a proper plan but the governor is rejecting it Eve before the file reaches his table.
This shows how public welfare works trouble them.He said that they spend crores of rupees on functions, on hosting the central ministers, on facilities to the governor and MP Chandigarh but when it comes to facilitating the common people suddenly they have no money. He added that they burden the common people with all kinds of taxes and fees then enjoy luxurious lifestyle on that money.
He said that these people (BJP) are only focused on the profit of their capitalist friends. They want to give huge financial benefits to these friends by burdening the common people with paid parking facility. They do not even want to discuss the interest of the general public. The money collected from the paid parkings goes to the pockets of some selected people, it is not used for the development or for the people.
He said that they are not worried about the revenue of Chandigarh, their only objection is that now people's money won't go into the pockets of their friends. In this press conference AAP Chandigarh incharge Dr Sunny Ahluwalia, Chandigarh Congress President HS Lucky, AAP Councillor Yogesh Dhingra and Congress Councillor Gurpreet Singh were also present with the Mayor.

आम आदमी पार्टी (आप) ने चंडीगढ़ में मुफ्त पानी और मुफ्त पार्किंग सुविधा के बारे में राज्यपाल की हालिया टिप्पणी की आलोचना की और कहा कि यह बहुत निराशाजनक है कि उन्होंने फाइलों को खारिज करने से पहले उन पर विचार भी नहीं किया। बुधवार को चंडीगढ़ पार्टी कार्यालय में प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस को संबोधित करते हुए चंडीगढ़ के मेयर कुलदीप कुमार ने कहा कि अभी दो दिन पहले हमने प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस कर आपको जानकारी दी थी कि चंडीगढ़ में लोगों को मुफ्त पार्किंग की सुविधा और 20,000 लीटर मुफ्त पानी दिया जाएगा।
हमारे इस फैसले को जनता से बहुत प्यार मिला क्योंकि यह आम लोगों के लिए एक बड़ी वित्तीय राहत थी। हमें आशा थी कि ऐसे जनकल्याणकारी निर्णयों को सचिव एवं राज्यपाल द्वारा बिना किसी समस्या के अनुमोदित कर दिया जायेगा और इसे जल्द आधिकारिक तौर पर मंजूरी मिल जायेगी। लेकिन यह बहुत दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है कि भाजपा के मनोनीत लोगों को जनहित में लिए गए फैसले पसंद नहीं आते।
ऐसे महत्वपूर्ण मुद्दों को उन्होंने बिना देखे और बिना किसी चर्चा के खारिज कर दिया। मेयर ने कहा कि राज्यपाल का यह तानाशाही रवैया आश्चर्य की बात नहीं है। उन्होंने इस विषय पर सोचने से भी साफ़ इंकार कर दिया क्योंकि भाजपा के मनोनीत राज्यपाल के मन में जनता के चुने हुए प्रतिनिधियों के प्रति कोई सम्मान नहीं है।
भारतीय जनता पार्टी की तानाशाही प्रकृति के कारण उनके नेताओं में लोकतंत्र और निर्वाचित प्रतिनिधियों के प्रति कोई सम्मान नहीं हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के निर्देश पर दिल्ली में एलजी ने वहां की अरविंद केजरीवाल सरकार के जनहित कार्यों की फाइलें रोक दीं। लेकिन हम दिल्ली में मुफ्त पानी दे रहे हैं।
अगर दिल्ली में इतनी बड़ी आबादी को मुफ्त पानी देना संभव है तो चंडीगढ़ में भी यह पूरी तरह संभव है। हमारे पास उचित योजना है लेकिन राज्यपाल उनकी मेज पर फाइल पहुंचने से पहले ही इसे खारिज कर रहे हैं। इससे पता चलता है कि जनकल्याण के काम उन्हें किस तरह परेशान करते हैं।
उन्होंने कहा कि वे समारोहों पर, केंद्रीय मंत्रियों की मेजबानी पर, राज्यपाल और सांसद चंडीगढ़ की सुविधाओं पर करोड़ों रुपये खर्च करते हैं लेकिन जब आम लोगों को सुविधा देने की बात आती है तो उनके पास पैसे नहीं होते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि वे आम लोगों पर सभी प्रकार के करों और शुल्कों का बोझ डालते हैं और फिर उस पैसे पर शानदार जीवन शैली का आनंद लेते हैं।
उन्होंने कहा कि इन लोगों (बीजेपी) का ध्यान सिर्फ अपने पूंजीपति दोस्तों के मुनाफे पर है। वे आम लोगों पर पेड पार्किंग सुविधा का बोझ डालकर अपने इन मित्रों को आर्थिक लाभ पहुंचाना चाहते हैं। वे आम जनता के हितों के मुद्दे पर चर्चा तक नहीं करना चाहते। पेड पार्किंग से इकट्ठा होने वाला पैसा कुछ चुनिंदा लोगों की जेब में चला जाता है।
इसका इस्तेमाल विकास या जनता के लिए नहीं किया जाता। इस प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में मेयर के साथ आप चंडीगढ़ के सह-प्रभारी डॉ. सनी अहलूवालिया, चंडीगढ़ कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष एचएस लक्की, आप पार्षद योगेश ढींगरा और कांग्रेस पार्षद गुरप्रीत सिंह भी मौजूद थे।

ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ (ਆਪ) ਨੇ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁਫਤ ਪਾਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਫਤ ਪਾਰਕਿੰਗ ਦੀ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਬਾਰੇ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਦੀ ਤਾਜ਼ਾ ਟਿੱਪਣੀ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਨਿਰਾਸ਼ਾਜਨਕ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਫਾਈਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਦ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਸਥਿਤ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦਫਤਰ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਮੇਅਰ ਕੁਲਦੀਪ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਜੇ ਦੋ ਦਿਨ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਪ੍ਰੈੱਸ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਫਤ ਪਾਰਕਿੰਗ ਦੀ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਅਤੇ 20,000 ਲੀਟਰ ਮੁਫਤ ਪਾਣੀ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
ਸਾਡੇ ਇਸ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਪਿਆਰ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਆਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਵੱਡੀ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਰਾਹਤ ਬਣ ਕੇ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ। ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਸ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਲੋਕ ਭਲਾਈ ਫੈਸਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਮੁੱਦੇ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਜਲਦੀ ਹੀ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਮੰਦਭਾਗੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਨੁਮਾਇੰਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਹਿੱਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਏ ਫੈਸਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਸੰਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਏਜੰਡਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਫਾਈਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਚਰਚਾ ਕੀਤੇ ਰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਹ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਜਨਤਕ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਟਿੱਪਣੀ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਚਰਚਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਮਝੀ।
ਮੇਅਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੋਚਣ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਸਾਫ਼ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮਜ਼ਦ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਨੁਮਾਇੰਦਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਭਾਰਤੀ ਜਨਤਾ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਤਾਨਾਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਸੁਭਾਅ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਸਾਡੇ ਲੋਕਤੰਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਨੁਮਾਇੰਦਿਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਕੋਈ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿਖਾਉਂਦੇ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਹਦਾਇਤਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਦਿੱਲੀ 'ਚ ਐੱਲ.ਜੀ.ਉਥੇ ਦੀ ਅਰਵਿੰਦ ਕੇਜਰੀਵਾਲ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਹਿੱਤ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਫਾਈਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ | ਪਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁਫਤ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ। ਜੇਕਰ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੰਨੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਆਬਾਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੇਣਾ ਸੰਭਵ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਇਹ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੰਭਵ ਹੈ। ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਇੱਕ ਉਚਿਤ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਫਾਈਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੇਜ਼ 'ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਰੱਦ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਲੋਕ ਭਲਾਈ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਪਰੇਸ਼ਾਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਮਾਗਮਾਂ 'ਤੇ, ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਮੰਤਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮੇਜ਼ਬਾਨੀ 'ਤੇ, ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਸਦ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਰੁਪਏ ਖਰਚ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਆਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਪੈਸੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਹਰ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਟੈਕਸਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਫੀਸਾਂ ਦਾ ਬੋਝ ਪਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਉਸ ਪੈਸੇ 'ਤੇ ਆਲੀਸ਼ਾਨ ਜੀਵਨ ਸ਼ੈਲੀ ਦਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਲੋਕ (ਭਾਜਪਾ) ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਰਮਾਏਦਾਰ ਦੋਸਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਨਾਫ਼ੇ 'ਤੇ ਕੇਂਦਰਿਤ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਆਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਪੇਡ ਪਾਰਕਿੰਗ ਦੀ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਦਾ ਬੋਝ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਸਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਲਾਭ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਆਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਿੱਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ। ਪੇਡ ਪਾਰਕਿੰਗਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਪੈਸਾ ਕੁਝ ਚੋਣਵੇਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਜੇਬਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਹ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਜਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਵਰਤਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਮਾਲੀਏ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇਤਰਾਜ਼ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਹੁਣ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਪੈਸਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੋਸਤਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਜੇਬਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੇਅਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ‘ਆਪ’ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਸਹਿ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਸੰਨੀ ਆਹਲੂਵਾਲੀਆ, ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਐਚਐਸ ਲੱਕੀ, ‘ਆਪ’ ਕੌਂਸਲਰ ਯੋਗੇਸ਼ ਢੀਂਗਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸੀ ਕੌਂਸਲਰ ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ
