SSP Pulwama PD Nitya flags off a group of students for Bharat Darshan Tour

As a part of Civic Action Programme of J&K police, SSP Pulwama, Ms. PD Nitya flagged off group of students comprising of 65 students of Police district Pulwama/Police Division Awantipora for five day long Bharat Darshan Tour-2023 from DPL Pulwama. DySP HQRS Pulwama, DySP DAR Pulwama, ASP Awantipora and DySP DAR Awantipora were also present on the occasion.

The tour is being organized by J&K police and all boarding and lodging facilities, to and fro air tickets including all other logistic facilities are being provided to the touring students by police. SSP Pulwama, P D Nitya-IPS while interacting with the touring students said that Bharat Darshan tour is primarily aimed at providing opportunity to the youth of the district to understand the togetherness of India in spite of immense diversity. 

She also said that it is an effort of J&K police to expose our youth to exciting tourist spots of the country, historical places and other famous workplaces which would make them aware of art, culture, people and rich diversity of our country. She also emphasized the importance of organizing such tours and said that the tour would help youth to develop a better understanding of the country and would help them to become a responsible citizen.

SSP Pulwama wished them a happy and safe journey and advised them to take full advantage of the tour to enrich their knowledge by visiting these historical places and other modern marvels of India. During the tour students will visit of historical places of Delhi and Kolkata.
