Dr Hina Bhat, extend greetings on Eid-ul-Fitr

"Dr Hina Shafi Bhat" today greeted people of the state on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr and prayed for their prosperity.The Dr Hina expressed hope that the auspicious occasion will bring sustained peace, progress, prosperity in the state and strengthen the bond of communal harmony, brotherhood and amity, which, she termed as the hallmarks of state’s glorious pluralistic traditions. In her message, Dr Hina Bhat reminded people of the essence of Eid and said the holy month of Ramadan helps people rededicate themselves to truthfulness, sincerity, self-control, patience and human dignity.“This day demands us remember the poor and needy, and share the happiness with them,” She said, noting that the “spirit behind the observance of Eid-ul-Fitr is to express thanks to Allah for giving us the courage to observe fast.” “Eid also embeds the message of taking care of the needy and making them part of the happiness by extending economic support to them,”
