"Shri Ram Yatra" turned Ambala Cantonment into a realm of Ram, with a grand welcome everywhere through a shower of flowers

Today, a grand "Shri Ram Yatra" was organized in Ambala Cantonment under the leadership of Haryana's Home and Health Minister, Sh. Anil Vij for the consecration of the life idol at Ayodhya Shri Ram Temple. With the triumphant chants of "Jai Shri Ram," Home Minister Anil Vij waved the saffron flag.

A downpour of flowers welcomed the procession in every market and square. Under the guidance of Home Minister Anil Vij, the yatra began in front of Subhash Park, covering various markets in the Ambala cantonment and concluding in Subhash Park in the afternoon.People showered flowers on the yatra from the rooftops, expressing their reverence for the consecration of the idol in the Ram Temple. Fireworks and a floral shower greeted the procession in the markets.

The yatra covered Outer Large Road from Subhash Park, Chameli Bridge from Laxman Halwai, exiting from Kabadi Bazaar Road, then Halwai Bazaar, Old Vegetable Market, DC Road, Sadar Bazaar Chowk, Nicholas Road, and finally, it culminated at Subhash Park from Punjab Mohalla Number One.During the yatra, devotees enthusiastically danced and swayed to devotional songs like "Shri Ram Aayenge, Ram Aayenge" and other bhajans.

Home Minister Anil Vij urged, "Clean the religious places until the consecration ceremony and have sattvic meals."

Haryana Home Minister Sh. Anil Vij stated that "From today until January 22, when the life idol of Shri Ram will be consecrated in Ayodhya, people should clean their temples, shrines and gurdwaras in their areas morning and evening. Also, they should consume sattvic meals." 

He further encouraged the participants to maintain a sattvic atmosphere and consume pure, vegetarian food until the consecration ceremony. He emphasized that sattvic meals lead to a virtuous environment and positive thoughts.

Home Minister Anil Vij said, "Preparations are underway for the consecration ceremony on January 22, and the Prime Minister is also actively involved. Therefore, we need to make preparations at our level. Until January 22, only consume sattvic meals and avoid tamasic and rajasic foods. 

This will create a sattvic environment, fostering good thoughts." He requested Ram devotees not to consume meat or alcohol until January 22 and join in cleaning religious places in their localities every day. Vij stressed that this effort is essential to create a sattvic atmosphere in preparation for the historic event after 500 years.

Sharing his experiences, Vij mentioned his participation in two movements for the Ayodhya cause, including an arrest and a 15-day stay in Unnao Jail. He expressed his commitment to visiting Ayodhya again, arranging a special train for the occasion.

Home Minister Anil Vij stated, "Shri Ram is returning after 500 years. People are very happy, and various programs are being organized everywhere. On January 22, Diwali will be celebrated, and preparations are being made to organize events in the temples of various areas. Therefore, everyone is requested to start cleaning their local temples today. Additionally, it is advised to consume sattvic meals, avoiding tamasic and rajasic foods, to ensure a pure environment for the event."

The entire Ambala Cantonment resonated with the triumphant chants of "Jai Shri Ram" during the Shri Ram Yatra. Home Minister Anil Vij, riding an open jeep with Shri Ram's flag, continuously waved it, while Ram devotees chanted and danced. 

The yatra covered various places where Ram devotees experienced a divine atmosphere. The procession saw the participation of devotees of all ages, with drums and trumpets accompanying their rhythmic dance. Women carrying kalash (decorated pots) on their heads led the procession.

Throughout the Shri Ram Yatra, conch shells were blown at intervals, and at every location, the procession was welcomed with joy. Firecrackers and paper lanterns were set off, and Ram devotees waved flags continuously, chanting "Jai Shri Ram." 

The yatra was quite extensive, with hundreds of Ram devotees actively participating. The happiness of the consecration ceremony's success in Ayodhya was visible in Ambala Cantonment, and the Shri Ram Yatra added a special touch to the celebration.

On this occasion, BJP leaders Rajiv Gupta Dimple, Kiranpal Chauhan, Vijender Chauhan, Lalit Choudhary, Jasbir Jassi, Om Sahgal, Kapil Vij, Shyam Sundar Arora, Fakirchand Saini, Sanjeev Soni, BS Bhandra, Narendra Rana, Ram Babu Yadav, Ajay Baveja, Ravi Sahgal, and Lalta Prasad were present along with other party workers.
