Director Health Services Jammu (DHSJ) Dr. Rajeev Kumar Sharma today conducted a comprehensive review of working of Health Institutions during a tour to Udhampur District. Chairing a meeting, the DHSJ took note of status of National Health Programmes/Centrally Sponsored Schemes and directed the concerned to put in more efforts to achieve targets in the stipulated time under respective schemes.
He gave a patient hearing to grievances put forward by BMOs and assured to fulfill them at the earliest. The meeting was held in CMO Office and attended by Chief Medical Officer, Medical Superintendent, Dy.CMO and Block Medical Officers of respective blocks of District Udhampur.
Earlier en-route, he visited Ayushman Arogya Mandir PHC Garhi Block Tikri to assess the public health care delivery system in the Health institution. DHS-J took round all sections of the Health institution including OPD, Labour room, Laboratory section, Dental Section, MCH Section and Wards.
The DHS Checked the records and register in all sections and interacted with the Medical officer, paramedical staff and patients. He was satisfied with the working of the Hospital.The Director was accompanied by CMO Udhampur Dr. Anil Manhas, Dy. CMO and BMO Tikri during his visit.
