Government Degree College Chatroo today celebrated the launch of transformative "Viksit Bharat" initiative, a comprehensive development program envisioned by the Indian government. Under the dynamic leadership of the college  Principal  Prof (Dr) Ved Kumar, alongside dedicated faculty members and over 50 enthusiastic students, the event marked a significant stride towards India's holistic progress.

The Viksit Bharat initiative embodies a visionary approach towards holistic growth, aiming to transform the nation across diverse sectors, foster inclusivity, and position India as a global frontrunner by the year 2047.

At the ceremony, the College Principal underscored the paramount importance of the Viksit Bharat initiative, emphasizing its role in India's commitment to holistic development. He highlighted its comprehensive approach spanning economic, social, and technological dimensions.

Dr. Ved Kumar articulated the primary objective of Viksit Bharat, focusing on catalyzing Economic Growth, fostering Infrastructure Development, and prioritizing Education and Skill Development. The initiative aims to empower the youth by providing them with world-class education, vocational training, and skill development programs tailored to meet the demands of a dynamic global economy.

In his conclusive remarks, Dr Ved Kumar reiterated the multifaceted approach of Viksit Bharat, stressing the significance of Policy Reforms and the enactment of progressive policies. The initiative's core emphasis lies in empowering youth through educational opportunities, ensuring quality education, and offering scholarship programs to enable inclusive access across all segments of society.
