Save Youth Save Future Foundation, in collaboration with Apple Care Agro Boonura Pulwama and Kheti Yari Team, hosted a groundbreaking High-Density Orchid Farming Awareness Camp on December 9th, 2023. This initiative aimed to revolutionize farming practices in Kashmir by promoting scientific cultivation methods.
Renowned orchidist Mr. Jittu Chauhan led the event, addressing the audience and underscoring the importance of scientific farming for Kashmiri farmers. The camp also featured notable figures such as Chairman "SYSF" Mr. Wajahat Farooq Bhat, Zonal President South Kashmir "SYSF" Mudasir Ahmed Dar, Anika Nazir, Womens Wing head of SYSF and local activist and host Mir Mushtaq.
The program kicked off with Mr. Jittu Chauhan emphasizing the significance of adopting modern technology in apple cultivation to compete in international markets. Anika Nazir encouraged educated women to explore scientific farming as a promising career, promoting gender inclusivity in the farming sector.

In the final segment, Mr. Chauhan discussed strategies to maximize returns for apples in both domestic and international markets, with a special focus on engaging Pulwama's youth in modern apple farming for self-employment.
Wajahat Farooq Bhat, Chairman of SYSF, echoed the "Vocal for Local" slogan, emphasizing financial independence, government schemes for farmers' upliftment, and encouraging youth to innovate in high-density farming.
