On the question of Congress not crossing the figure of thirty-six in Chhattisgarh, Sh. Anil Vij commented on the Congress party's failure to secure more than 36 seats in the Chhattisgarh assembly elections.

He asserted that the people of India have rejected not only the Congress but also other opposition parties.

He emphasized that the public's support lies with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. At the same time, in the elections, Rahul Gandhi had called the Prime Minister a Panauti, on which Home Minister Anil Vij said that Congress must have now realized that Rahul Gandhi himself is a Panauti.
