As per the Action plan for the month of November, 2023 issued by Jammu & Kashmir Legal Services Authority (JKLSA) and also under the directions of Yesh Pal Kotwal, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Samba (Pr. Distt. & Sessions Judge Samba), District Legal Services Authority, Samba observed “National Children Day 2023” today to celebrate the Birth Anniversary of Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru who was a strong advocate for child rights and education by organizing a cultural program at Gujjar and Bakerwal Hostel Samba.

This program was presided over by Yesh Pal Kotwal, Chairman District Legal Services Authority Samba. In his address, the Chairman DLSA Samba highlighted the importance of the right to education for the children as enshrined in the Constitution of India. He advised the participating students to work hard and become good and responsible citizens of the country. The students of the hostel presented different performances such as group dance, Gojri Ghazal and Speeches. They were also felicitated by the Chief Guest.

This program witnessed the presence of    Mustaq Choudhary, Assistant Warden, Gujjar and Bakarwal Boys Hostel Samba,   Mohd, Harun, Teacher, NishaRani, Deputy LADC, DLSA Samba, Students of the hostel, PLVs of DLSA Samba. The Program was supervised by   Rekha Kapoor Nischal Secretary DLSA Samba. At the end of the program  a light refreshment was also given to the students of the Hostel.
