To observe “Vigilance Awareness Week”, Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Jammu today organized an Awareness Program at GGZSMDC, Reasi in collaboration with the National Service Scheme Unit of the college.The Program started with the lighting of the ceremonial Lamp followed by speeches by the students of the college. Eight students Vasudha Devi, Sonia Kumari, Meenakshi Devi, Payal Devi, Suhani Sangam, Atul Kumar and Sajad Ali spoke on the theme.

Assistant Commissioner Revenue Reasi Dr. Anshumalii Sharma was the Chief Guest.While interacting with the students, the Chief Guest highlighted the threats caused by corruption, especially to the security of the country as a whole and also suggested the ways and the means to eradicate it from society.

Dr. Udhay Bhanu, Principal GDC Pouni was the special invitee of the Program, who explained different types of corruption in the society and the role of youth to eradicate the same. The key speaker of the Program was  Gurmeet Singh, Dy. SP (ACB, Jammu) who detailed to the students the workings of the Anti-Corruption Bureau.

 He further made the students aware about the process of complaining against the person demanding bribes etc. Others present on the occasion included Prof. Narinder Sharma, Surinder Kumar, AE, Dr. Saleem Ahmed, Dr. Prabjot Kour, Prof. Palvinder Kumari, Prof. Balbir Kumar, and Dr. Tanveer Ahmed Khan. 

The whole Program was organized under the guidance of the college Principal Dr. Kulvinder Kour and the supervision of NSS Program Officer, Prof. Ajay Kumar.The stage was hoisted by Vasudha Devi an NSS Volunteers and Vote of Thanks was presented by Dr. Tanveer Ahmed Khan who in the end diverted the attention of all toward the intangible means of corruption.
