While terming the violent and arson acts of the CRPF at Baltal Sonamarag in which they burnt about 400 tents of the local service providers, as depiction of Indian communal mind set, chairman All Parties Hurriyat Conference Syed Ali Geelani said that these types of acts are totally unacceptable to the people of Kashmir. In a statement issued to GNS, the spokesman quoting Geelani as having said that Jammu & Kashmir is not any colony of India where its forces can terrorize and humiliate the common people at will but it is a disputed region which has been forcibly occupied by the India.“The people of Kashmir have never accepted the illegal and unjust occupation of India and they have from the very first day of the occupation, protested against it and that is why the incidents like Baltal happen in Kashmir every now and then where CRPF set 400 tents set on fire in the broad day light and used extreme force on the laborers and shopkeepers which doesn’t have any justification”, Geelani said.

Geelani questioned that why are the accused who stabbed Naib Khan, being shielded and the people who demand justice are being beaten and humiliated? Geelani said that due to the Narinder Modi government the communal minded people have got encouraged and now these forces have come out in open. “He said that it is very unfortunate that the Kashmiries are being gifted with bullets for their traditional hospitality”.Geelani said that India is working on the Israeli pattern to change the demography of the state and she want to settle colonies and cities of communal minded people within the state. “The Jews under a deep conspiracy grabbed the land in Palestine and named it as Israel and after that they not only dragging the citizens of Palestine out of their land but they forced 40 lakh Palestinian people to the life in exile while as the children of the remaining Palestinian people are brutally killed in air strikes.

Geelani cautioned the people of Kashmir that if they remained silent and unmoved over the dangerous and cruel policies of India, the Kashmir will enter into a darkest phase of history.“Kashmiries should resist tooth and nail policies of India to grab the land in Kashmir and people should not sell even a small piece of land to the India or its institutions so that they can save their future generation from this slavery”, Geelani in a statement issued to GNS said.

While strongly condemning the indiscriminate firing by Paramilitary forces at Qaimoh Wanpoh which reportedly seriously injured a youth Amir Ahmed Parray, hurriyat chairman termed the firing on unarmed people as state terrorism.Meanwhile on the direction of Geelani, Peer Saifullah visited the soura hospital to enquire about the health of Amir Ahmad and prayed for his immediate recovery. The Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Health Secretary Mohammad Ashruf Laya also visited the SMHS where he met the injured persons. (GNS)
