NSS unit of Government General Zorawar Singh Memorial Degree College, Reasi organized Kalash Yatra in which the staff, NSS volunteers and the students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. The Yatra was flagged off by Dr. Kulvinder Kour, Principal of the College. Under the Program, the volunteers, students and staff members collected Maati from the adjoining Panchayats of the College to spread the message among the people for love and respect of our Maati. A pledge was also taken to protect Mathrabhumi by all means.

The program aims to instill a feeling of National Pride among the students and to inspire them to preserve our National Heritage and to remember freedom fighters and National heroes. The Panch Pran Pledge was also taken on the occasion. The Yatra was organized under the supervision of NSS Program Officer, Prof. Ajay Kumar.
