Municipal Council Ramban on Wednesday organised Kalash Yatra besides other activities in the town under the theme “Vasudha Vandhan” “Meri Maati Mera Desh” and “Mitti ko Naman, Veeron ka Vandan”.  The events were held in collaboration with Ramban Public High School, in collaboration with President MC Ramban, Sunita Sumberia presided over the function, while EO MC, Sudershan Kumar, Principal RPHS, Riyaz Wani and several other officers, officials and locals besides students participated in the programme.

On the occasion, various activities are held including Maati Yatra, Cultural Program, Pledge ceremonies and Painting competitions in which students showcase their talent. Appreciating the school administration and MC Ramban for organizing events, the President MC said during current year programmes have been focused to pay tributes to martyrs under “Veero Ko Naman" and "Veero Ka Vandan". 

She also sensitized the students about the cleanliness in their localities besides planting trees to get a clean environment under Vasudha Vandhan program. Meanwhile, Students and officials cleaned the surroundings inside and outside the Ramban market.
