The week-long transformative program, Sankalp Saptah, reached its pinnacle on Monday here in the Aspirational block of Marwah. Held in alignment with the Aspirational Blocks Programme (ABP) the landmark event, inaugurated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi at Bharat Mandapam, ITPO, New Delhi, not only symbolized governmental commitment for public welfare but also a crucial step towards enhancing governance at the block level, with direct and substantial benefits to local citizens.
Guided by the Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Devansh Yadav, the Sankalp Saptah in Marwah unfolded a tapestry of impactful activities hosted by different departments.Initiating with "Sampooran e Swasthya," the health department delivered vital services ranging from ANC clinics to immunization drives, NCD screenings, anaemia tests, and extensive TB awareness campaigns.
The second day hosted the "Suposhit Pariwar Poshan Mela," a collaboration by the ICDS Department, emphasizing nutrition-related activities, complemented by culturally enriching ceremonies such as "Godh Brai" and "Annaprasan" at anganwadi centers.
Subsequent days were dedicated to fostering cleanliness, promoting agricultural advancements, improving education in primary and middle schools, and celebrating progress and development at Panchayat Ghars under Swachhataa ek Sankalp, Krishi Mahotsav, Shiksha ek Sankalp activities.
The concluding day brought together SDM Marwah, Joint Director Planning Mohd Iqbal, block level officers, local PRIs, and the community, sharing profound insights and experiences garnered throughout the week.SDM Marwah eloquently highlighted the aims and objectives of Sankalp Saptah, emphasizing its roots in aspirations gathered during chintan shivirs at the village and block levels.
This initiative embodies the Government's unwavering commitment to grassroots development and governance enhancement, aligning seamlessly with the vision outlined in the Aspirational Blocks Programme initiated by the Prime Minister on January 7, 2023.
