Akshay Kumar has recently been in the headlines for the Vimal ad controversy which blazed fires in netizens after watching Akshay Kumar in the new Vimal advertisement again which was aired during the Indian-Australia ICC Men’s World Cup match. The video went rounds on the internet after which the public started showing disappointment for the actor over the news of Akshay’s return to Vimal ad. Clearing up all the doubts of the media and public, Akshay has finally come up with a mouth shutting reply.

Akshay Kumar could not hold himself back after coming across the trolls and backlashes from all around. A news from Bollywood Hungama confirming his return caught his attention after which Kumar gave a befitting reply to them as well as all the media houses pointing fingers towards him without checking the facts beforehand as the commercial was shot 2 years back on 13 October 2021 and the company has legal rights to run them until next month.

Akshay replied back to the tweet by clearing up all the confusion as he said, “‘Returns’ as ambassador? Here’s some fact check for you Bollywood Hungama, if by chance you are interested in things other than fake news. These ads were shot on 13th October, 2021. I have not had anything to do with the brand ever since I publicly announced the discontinuation of the endorsement. They can legally run the already shot ads till the end of next month. Chill and do some real news.”

Have A Look At The Tweet:

Last year in 2022, Akshay faced backlash from the public for featuring in tobacco ads despite calling himself as a ‘health freak’, he withdrew his name and apologised from everyone for being associated with the ad while promising that he will never endorse in such ads. So after seeing Akshay Kumar again in the new commercial, netizens got angry and accused him for not keeping his word.
