'Amrit Kalash Yatra' as part of the 'Meri Maati Mera Desh' campaign was on Monday held in different villages of Block Headquarters of district Bandipora, celebrating India's 75th year of Independence. The Amrit Kalash Yatra involved the collection of soil from various Panchayats within the blocks of district Bandipora, symbolising unity and dedication to the country.

DDC Arin, led the 'Amrit Kalash Yatra' with the participation of councilors besides residents of the block. The Yatra culminated at the council's headquarters. Similarly, the Amrit Kalash was collected from across the other blocks of the district, including block Bonakoot and different blocks of Gurez Sub division.

Pertinently, the Amrit Kalash Yatra Block Level functions are being conducted, and Campaign shall culminate at a Grand Function to be held at Kartavya Path on October 30, 2023.
