As a part of 'Ek Ghanta Ek Tareekh Ek Saath', district administration Bandipora Sunday conducted a massive cleanliness drive at Nand Kishore Temple Sumbal. The drive led by Nodal Officer Coordination Mohammad Ashraf Hakak garnered community support and praise. ARTO/DIO Bandipora Bilal Ahmad Mir, AD Food Bilal Ahmad, Traders federation Sumbal, students besides a huge gathering of locals participated in the event.
Jahangeer Ahmad besides other councillors from MC Hajin were present on the occasion. The cleanliness drive commenced from Nand Kishore Temple Sumbal and culminated at Jhelum river front. 'Ek Tareekh Ek Gahanta Ek Saath', a special event was designed to rally people for a collective effort in cleaning their surroundings to promote cleanliness ahead of Ghandhi Jayanti Celebrations under Swachtwa Campaign. People from different walks of life participated in the cleanliness drives held across the district.
