NC Additional General Secretary Dr. Sheikh Mustafa Kamal also participated in the protest rally to encourage the YNC activists and addressed the protesters and Youth National Conference activists at various places till the rally reached the UN Office at Sonawar,” an NC spokesman said in a statement.

The activists raised slogans like "Down with Israel", "Gaza Gaza, Save Gaza", "Down with Injustice", "Palestine Zindabad", "NC's voice - Save Gaza" at various places and stops during the rally. The NC condemned the killing of Gazans at the hands of Israeli forces and called on world powers to use their influence in halting attacks. The protesters also torched an Israel flag. The BJP leader, Fayaz Ahmad Bhat, said that innocent people of Palestine are dying similarly, people of Iraq are dying. He said that humanity weeps on such heart rending issues. He said that what is happening in these places is condemnable and we should always stand for the protection of humanity.

Scores of students also held anti-Israel protest in Press Enclave and expressed solidarity with Palestine. In south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, dozens of lawyers took out a rally from Court Complex to DC office and held anti-Israel protests.
