Digital J&K Week in district Ramban achieved a great success in sensitizing the people about online services launched by the different departments to provide hassle free and corruption free governance to people at their doorsteps.

At the culmination of the Digital J&K Week and to intensify the Bhrashtachar Mukt Jammu and Kashmir campaign, a mega event was held at Sub-division Gool which witnessed a huge footfall of people. The departments had set up their stalls for providing on spot facility to people for availing online services.

Among others, BDC Chairpersons of Gool, Gundi Dharam, Sangaldan, DDC member Gool, and PRIs also participated in the Digi Mela.The subject specialists of the government departments educated participants about the importance of digital services in making services available to the poor people at their doorsteps. 

They further took advantage of the event for making people know about various schemes launched by the Government for providing employment opportunities to the unemployed youth.

The departments which displayed their presentations on the occasion included Revenue, Agriculture, Horticulture, Sheep Husbandry, Animal Husbandry, Skill Development, CSC, Industries and Commerce, JK Bank, Education, FCS&CA and JPDCL.

Focusing on the both Digital J&K Week and Bhrashtachar Mukt Jammu and Kashmir campaign, the PRIs thanked the Government for such initiatives which have made delivery of public services transparent and seamless.

SDM Gool, Tanveer ul Majid Wani, in his address emphasized upon the need of making these digital services common among the masses so that people especially of hilly terrain are able to get these services at their doorsteps.
