In order to promote transparency and ensure corruption-free implementation of the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), the Chairperson, District Development Council (DDC) Bandipora, Ab Gani Bhat Tuesday flagged-off the 'JJM Prachar Rath' from the Mini Secretariat.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Umar Shafi Pandit along with Executive Engineer PHE Bandipora and other senior officers of the district, were present on the occasion.ADC Bandipora on the occasion informed that the JJM Prachar Rath, a mobile awareness campaign is designed to educate and involve the people on the objectives of JJM, benefits and procedures, therefore incorporating a sense of ownership and vigilance among the common masses.

The ADC further said that through the Prachar Rath, we will inform the public about their rights and responsibilities, ensuring that the benefits of this mission reach every household.

It was given out that the 'JJM Prachar Rath' will travel to various markets, villages and other areas within the district, conducting informative sessions, distributing pamphlets and therefore involving the local population to create awareness about the objectives of Jal Jeevan Mission and its effective and corruption free implementation across the district.
