Additional District Development Commissioner, Ramban, Rajinder Sharma today convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the arrangements for the celebration Shri Krishna Janmashtami.
The meeting was attended by ACR, Gias-ul-Haq; Executive Engineer Jal Shakti, Rajeev Gai; EO, MC Ramban, Sudershan Kumar; Dy. SP Traffic, Iftikhar, AD Fire & Emergency and other concerned officers.
It was informed in the meeting that Jhankies will be taken out from different catchment areas of the Ramban which will visit the identified locations of Ramban town and temples.
The ADDC directed the concerned departments to ensure proper arrangements regarding security, sanitation, medical facilities, drinking water and other basic amenities for smooth and successful celebration of the festival.
ADDC directed CEO MC to ensure cleanliness in and around the temples and enroute the procession path. The Jal Shakti Department was directed to ensure that water tanks are provided at identified locations. The Fire and Emergency department was directed to remain prepared to deal with any eventuality.
