A delegation led by Telangana Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao, called on Union Minister for Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation Uma Bharti here yesterday. In a memorandum submitted to the Minister, the Telangana delegation raised various issue related to sharing of river water with neighboring states and demanded center’s intervention on some of the issues. ShriRao also requested for a detailed meeting on the issue. SushriBharti promised to look into their demands.She told ShriRao that after going through the memorandum a detailed response will be sent to Telangana.
