Chairman, District Development Council Udhampur, Lal Chand today conducted an extensive tour of Education Zone-JIB and inspected the functioning of the Government Schools there. He was accompanied by ZEO Tikri, Madan lal Dogra; Principal Government Higher Secondary School Barolla, Pratibha Gupta and PRI members of the area.
The DDC Chairman visited Government Higher Secondary School Barolla where he inspected the construction work of new Building Block. During his tour, he also visited to Government Middle School, Kuppar. It was informed that the school has a very low enrollment and needs special attention.
Later, he visited GMS Nambal and GMS Dhanni, where he checked the attendance records and punctuality of the staff members. He also directed the staff of the school to work with zeal and sincerity so that the enrollment and focus of the children will rise up.
Later, the DDC Chairman inspected the construction work of new building block of District Development Council, Udhampur at Birwah Bridge in Panchayat Dhanori, Block Udhampur.
Superintending Engineer PWD Udhampur, Kewal Kishore; Assistant Commissioner Development, Ranjeet Singh Kotwal; Executive Engineer PWD, Mohd. Zuber; Executive Engineer, REW, Ram Singh; BDO Udhampur, Sahil Bhagotra and other officials of PWD and RDD including AEE, AE and JEE accompanied him.
