On the third day of his Hamirpur sojourn, the Chief Minister, Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu laid foundation stones of office of Chief Engineer, Jal Shakti Vibhag Hamirpur at Salasi to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 5.27 crore, Rs.15 crore upgradation of water source under LWSS Hamirpur and Rs. 11.36 crore widening and improvement of Kudihar-Masiana road. 

Furthermore, The Chief Minister also inaugurated Rs. 3.93 crore bridge over Sukker khad, benefiting the residents of village Khatwin. He also inaugurated the office of H.P. Transport Appellate Tribunal Hamirpur, Solar office of HPPCL at Anu and laid foundation stone of Rs. 67 lakh War Memorial Hamirpur.

Talking to reporters, the Chief Minister said that all these projects would benefit the people. The inauguration of the Transport Appellate Tribunal in Hamirpur would bring convenience and ease to transporters, streamlining their operations. 

The state government is steadfastly committed to harnessing solar and green energy, underscoring the state government’s dedication to sustainable and eco-friendly practices, he said.To a query, Sh. Sukhu said that every decision taken by the government is aimed at fostering comprehensive development across the entire state and ensuring the welfare of its people. 

The present state government does not believe in red-tapism and is promoting efficiency and expediency in governance.Responding to questions about senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's recent bail rejection, Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu stated that he had not committed any wrongdoing. 

Instead, Rahul Gandhi has been a vocal advocate for national unity and the integrity of the country. Rahul Gandhi's extensive Bharat Jodo Yatra from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, during which he walked over 4,000 kilometers, has made a unique connection with the people and that is the reason for political vendetta against him.

To a question, the Chief Minister said that reinstating the old pension scheme was a decision made in the best interest of the state's employees, in the very first cabinet and this was not done for any political gain, but providing retired individuals with a fixed income to lead a dignified life.

Furthermore, the government's dedication to public welfare remains unwavering until its last day, he said.The Chief Minister reiterated that the state government is committed to making decisions that benefit the people and contribute to the overall progress and prosperity of the state.

On the occasion Chief Parliamentary Secretary Sunder Singh Thakur, MLAs, Inder Dutt Lakhanpal, Ashish Sharma and Suresh Kumar, Ex. MLA Anita Verma, District Congress President Kuldeep Singh Pathania, Congress leader Dr. Pushpinder Verma, Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Bairwa, SP Aakriti Sharma and other dignitaries were also present amongst others.
