As a part of World Environment Week 2023, the District Health Society Doda today organized a debate and painting competition at ANMT School Doda.Chief Medical Officer, Dr Ab Hamid Zargar was the Chief Guest while the Principal ANMT School Anusuya Bhan, Medical Officer Leprosy Dr Javed Ahmed Parray, Mohammad Shafi Attu (HE), Umar Anayat (Epidemiologist), Zaheer Gattu (Sanitary Inspector),   Jonson Chandail (Divisional ASHA Trainer), Umar Mughal,   Azhar Iqbal, Indra Devi (Sister Tutor) &   Saima Kousar (Sister Tutor) students of ANMT Doda were present on the occasion.

As many as 10 ANMT School students participated in both the events.   Mohd Shafi Attu, Dr Javed Parray &  Zaheer Gattu delivered lectures on World Environment Week and educated the participants about the conservation of environment.

The CMO said that the day serves as a platform for individuals, communities and government to come together and promote sustainable practices and initiatives.He said during the Week various programs are organized across the district, including clean-up drives, educational programs, awareness workshops, and seminars focusing on environmental conservation and sustainable development.

The CMO further stressed on encouraging individuals and organizations to take concrete steps towards a more sustainable future.Faizan A Tramboo conducted the proceedings of the programme.Later, the students were awarded with Ist, 2nd and 3rd position besides participation certificates by the Chief Guest.
