Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has also opposed the controversial ordinance of the central government on Delhi. Then we along with the people of Delhi fought an eight-year-long battle against this notification, after which the Supreme Court ruled in favor of the people of Delhi and said that the right to transfer and posting of officers should rest with the elected government of Delhi.
But Prime Minister Modi could not digest this defeat. Then he dictatorially usurped the authority of the Delhi government by bringing an ordinance against the Supreme Court's decision.
Kejriwal said that if all the opposition parties unite in the Rajya Sabha, then this bill will not be passed. He said that we are going across the country seeking support from all the parties because this bill is against the democracy and the federal system of our country. All parties should rise above their personal interests and oppose this bill in the Parliament.
