The Punjab Vigilance Bureau in its anti corruption campaign has done commendable job in the month of June, 2014. During this month, the Bureau has completed the inquiry in various cases, subsequently; challans of five cases were filed before the Hon’ble courts.Disclosing this here, an official spokesperson of the Vigilance Bureau said that during the month of June, 2014, Nine officers/official were caught red handed accepting bribe. Two criminal cases were also registered whereas one case of disproportionate assets was also registered in the month of June.The spokesman further said that during the hearing of another cases filed by Vigilance Bureau, the Hon’ble courts have pronounced sentenced to the culprits in two bribery cases. He said that Vigilance Bureau has also initiated fresh inquiries in thirteen other cases.
