Deputy Commissioner Surabhi Malik on Saturday launched a monthly newsletter of the district administration to engage with people directly.Titled ' Khabran Ludhianavi' will enable the people of Ludhiana to stay connected to the administration and disseminate the information about the government's policies.
Detailing about initiative of administration, the Deputy Commissioner said that the newsletter would update readers about the latest programmes and policies of the Punjab Government besides activities carried out in the month including camps, meetings, functions and others.
Malik appreciated the efforts of Aparna MB, IAS, Assistant Commissioner (Under Training) for single-handedly designing this newsletter. She also expressed hope that the newsletter will also inform the citizens about upcoming events, camps, functions also so that they can avail maximum benefit of the camps.
Further, Assistant Commissioner Aparna MB said that citizens would have the opportunity to provide constructive suggestions to the administration through the newsletter by emailing on [email protected] among present on the occasion included ADC Amarjeet Bains, SDM Jasleen Bhullar and others.
