VC DDC Kupwara takes review of different schemes implemented in Wavoora Constituency

Vice-Chairman District Development Council (VC-DDC) Kupwara, Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir today convened a meeting of officers to review the status of different schemes being implemented in the DDC territorial constituency of Wavoora (Lolab) at meeting hall of DC office Complex Kupwara.

The Vice Chairman stressed upon the officers to work with added dedication and zeal and ensure strict adherence to the timelines of different ongoing development works so that people at large could get benefitted under various schemes.

On the occasion, the Vice Chairman directed the officers to expedite the ongoing works under CD-Panchayat, District Capex, Education sector, Health, Jal Shakti and different RDD schemes in the Wavoora constituency so that the general public gets benefited.

He impressed upon officers for proper awareness of schemes among the people to ensure all round development at grassroots level.Earlier, the concerned officers briefed the chair about the status of various ongoing developmental works.

VC directed Tehsildars of Lalpora and Sogam to speed up the evacuation of state land for construction of school buildings and other government buildings.He stressed on RDD and Sports department authorities to prioritise the construction of play fields in Wavoora constituency.

VC asked the Agriculture department, allied sectors and line departments to work with co-operation and tandem so that awareness given in Kissan Sampark Abhiyan reaches from lab to field.ACD Kupwara, CMO Kupwara, CEO Kupwara, ACP Kupwara, AD Food, Ex. Engineers of REW and PHE Kupwara, Tehsildar Sogam, BMO Sogam and other concerned officers attended the meeting.
