Development works are going on rapidly across the state and it has happened for the first time that a Government has started development works during its first year, while the previous governments have told bare lies in the name of development.
These words were expressed by Mr. Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, Rural Development and Panchayat Minister while inaugurating the work of Shivpuri Road and Sai Mandir By Pass Road by Nagar Panchayat at Ajnala today. He said that with the construction of both roads, the residents of the area will get a lot of relief.
He said that within the next two months, the look of Ajnala will totally change.Cabinet Minister Dhaliwal said that pond cleaning, panchayat house repair, Anganwadi center work, new library construction work, stadium work in full swing and illegal encroachments will be removed within the city itself. He said that all city-like facilities will be provided to Ajnala city shortly.
While talking to the press reporters Mr. Dhaliwal said that the government is soon bringing a new policy under which the people who have built permanent houses in Shamlat areas, government will not be demolished while taking the collector rate from them. Ownership will be given and the occupants of the vacant premises will be immediately removed.
