Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dream Girl has proved itself a superhit entertaining film with a social message and has made people laugh out loud on its unique story. Pooja is now back to ring your heart’s telephone as the makers earlier announced the sequel ‘Dream Girl 2’. The fans have to wait a bit a longer as the film has now again got a new release date due to certain reasons.
Ayushmann Khurrana took to his Instagram and shared a note in his post in which he unveiled the new release date. He wrote in the post that, “Mere priya Aashiqon, chaar saal baad aapke Dil Ka Telephone phir se ring ring hoga. Ab iske liye taiyaari bhi toh shaandaar, dhamakedaar, aur smoochiebhari honi chahiye na? Toh karo thoda aur intezaar, And keep sending lots of pyaar. Ab #7 Ko Saath Mein nahi, Pooja ki Kiss on August Pachees. Dream Girl 2 releasing in theatres on 25th August, 2023 - Aapki Pyari Pooja.”
He further captioned his post as, “Pachees badi hai mast mast, kyunki @pooja___dreamgirl aa rahi hai on 25 August #PoojaKiKissOnAug25 #DreamGirl2 releasing in theatres on 25th August, 2023”

So, the film is now going to release on 25 August 2023 due to the VFX work as the team wants it to be perfect and of high quality as Ekta Kapoor said, “We want Ayushmann Khurrana's character to look perfect as Pooja in Dream Girl 2, and that's why we are taking extra time to perfect the VFX work for the face. We want to ensure that our viewers get the best possible experience when they watch the movie. The VFX work for Dream Girl 2 is an integral part of the movie, and we want to ensure that we deliver a high-quality product to our audiences.”
In Dream Girl 2, Ayushamnn will be seen playing dual roles as ‘Karam’ and ‘Pooja’ as he played in Dream Girl. Along with Ayushmann, the film also stars Ananya Panday, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani, Vijay Raaz, Annu Kapoor, Seema Pahwa, Manoj Joshi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Manjot Singh. The movie is directed by Raaj Shaandaliya and produced by Ektaa Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. The comedy film has filled fans with a lot of excitement and is ready to make people laugh.
This is the fourth time the film has got a new release date as the film was first decided to be released on 29 June 2023 then it was preponed to 23 June 2023 and then postponed to 7 July 2023 and now it has again been delayed to 25 August 2023. This delay in the film is increasing the excitement among the fans and now they can’t wait to see Pooja back on the big screens with Dream Girl 2.
