Story, Screenplay And Dialogues
The narrative opens with Ammy Virk (Raja) playing a man in charge of a professional group of people who are tying Turbans. He falls in love at first sight with Pari Pandher (Roop) in a wedding. He loses his vision as a result of an unfortunate incident and travels to his sister in the UK for treatment. There, Roop and he unintentionally cross paths once more, and they fall in love. The struggle of persuading her parents and recovering his vision follows in the movie.
The film's screenplay is excellent and provides heartwarming moments just when they are needed. The movie looks a bit stretched post interval.
The dialogues were the best part in the movie. Incredible one liners took the movie to another level.
Acting
Ammy Virk's portrayal of Raja and his outstanding performance as a blind man will not let you down. He never looked rushed into his character which could have ruined the taste. Iftikhar Thakur and Nasir Chinyoti have already demonstrated their abilities, and they have once more upheld their reputation. It's fun to see them in this movie deliver one-liners in their particular style.
Gurdeep Kaur Grewal and Deedar Gill were both outstanding. They did an excellent job of including different shades in their personalities whatever the situation required. No matter what role he plays, Hardeep Gill consistently makes an impression.
The rest of the cast did well and supported the entire cast beautifully throughout the movie and played their part very well.
Direction And Music
With a strong star cast and competent direction, Rakesh Dhawan was able to produce an almost flawless film. Songs of the movie were good, especially Akhian Nimanian by Amrinder Gill which is a perfect romantic song for a movie. Rest of the songs were decent.
All in all Annhi Dea Mazaak Ae is a full on family entertainer to watch with family with crispy comedy punches, phenomenal one liners and powerful performances.
So, 5 Dariya News gives 4.5 out of 5 stars to the Punjabi film Annhi Dea Mazaak Ae. Half the star is snipped due to a bit stretched second half and music could have been better.
