The second day of global cultural diversity celebrations at Lovely Professional University (LPU) witnessed a spectacular display of 150+ folk dances and diverse cultures' stalls. Thousands of international students from 50+ countries are engaged in performances and showcasing, while 30,000 national students are witnessing the same with applause, glorifying the campus with vibrant colors and energy.
LPU Chancellor, Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal, inaugurated the second day's celebrations and encouraged everyone to share similarities and differences alike to know each other in a dignified humane culture of true understanding.
Dr. Mittal also expressed that these celebrations will lead the globe on true values as they aim for the synthesis of diverse cultures, defining diversity as an art of thinking independently together.LPU is celebrating a three-day global cultural diversity event at its campus, which will conclude on 8th April 2023.
The mega diverse cultures celebrations are taking place at all LPU campuses for AIU's 2nd International Youth Festival and India's largest international students' fest, 'One World' of LPU.One of the team managers from participating Banasthali Vidyapith of Jaipur (Rajasthan), Prof. Dr. Kinshuk Srivastav shared that the mega celebrations at LPU are inspiring all onlookers to feel themselves as true denizens of "One World".
