The much-awaited trailer of the Punjabi movie "Yaaran Da Rutbaa" has finally been launched across all digital platforms today, offering a glimpse into the intense and gripping storyline! Starring Dev Kharoud and Prince Kanwaljit in the lead, the movie is directed by Mandeep Benipal. The trailer was also showcased today at PVR Mall, Mohali in the presence of the movie’s lead star cast and media.
Releasing this Vaisakhi on 14th April, the film is directed by Mandeep Benipal, who has previously helmed critically acclaimed films such as 'Daakuan Da Munda'.
"Yaaran Da Rutbaa" promises to be a gripping mystery that revolves around two rival groups, Brar Group and Khaiwal Group. Due to some tragic circumstances, the head of one of the groups gets murdered and the blame comes on one of the lead characters - Arjun. Interestingly, to solve this murder mystery, a writer named Poras, comes into the picture, whose own life’s story is also waiting to be concluded with the successful resolution of the murder case.

Speaking to the media at the trailer launch, director Mandeep Benipal said, “Yaaran Da Rutbaa explores themes of friendship, loyalty, and betrayal and promises to keep audiences on the edge of their seats. Set in the heartland of Punjab, I am confident that the movie shall be loved by Punjabi audiences across the globe.”
While expressing his views, the star actor Dev Kharoud said, "I am thrilled to be working on this project because of its interesting premise, script and the director, Mandeep Benipal, who’s both a friend and a mentor. Yaaran Da Rutbaa will offer a unique take on the bonds of friendship and the challenges that come with it, apart from gripping the audience’s interest right till the end."
Other lead actor, Prince Kanwaljit, who’s impressed the Punjabi audience with his immaculate acting skills in movies like Warning, also expressed his excitement about the project and said, " I am delighted to have the opportunity to work on 'Yaaran Da Rutba', and I strongly believe that the audience will enjoy our efforts and the plot of the film.
The movie is produced by Nitin Talwar, Raman Aggarwal and Amandeep Singh under the banner of Orrange Studioz. Written by Shree Brar, Yaaran Da Rutbaa shall be released worldwide by OMJEE Star Studios. Besides Dev and Prince, the movie also stars Rahul Dev, Yesha Sagar, Karanveer Khullar, and Raman Dhagga in pivotal roles.
