District Administration Pulwama along with Youth Services and Sports organized Trekking cum Youth Festival in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday with the aim of attracting the attention of the youth towards sports activities and attracting them towards trekking.
216 children from 8 zones of Pulwama district participated in this program. These children were sent to Trekking Cum Youth Festival today which was Inaugurated by the Commanding Officer 183 Battalion CRPF in the presence of Youth Services and Sports Officer Muhammad Shafi along with other senior officers.
The Festival will be held at Namblan Sangerwani in the upper region of Pulwama district where along with pitch trekking, other sports competitions will be held among children as a one-day event.
Speaking on this occasion, Youth Services and Sports Officer Pulwama Muhammad Shafi said that under the Youth Engagement Program, 216 children of the district were selected for the Trekking Cum Youth Festival in Pulwama at Namblan Sangerwani area in its aims to attract the attention of the youth towards sports activities.
Commanding Officer 183 Battalion CRPF said that all the officers of Pulwama district are working to engage the youth of Pulwama in sports, police and CRPF are also working for the youth to engage them in sports activities
