In an effort to combat the increasing menace of drugs among the youth and masses, Deputy Commissioner Babila Rakwal flagged off the Run for Unity Rally against Drugs. The rally was also aimed at preventing drug abuse and addiction in society. 

The march commenced from Gran Morh Reasi and concluded at General Zorawar Singh Sports Stadium Reasi. The rally saw participation from students of various schools, prominent youth leaders and social groups of Reasi. 

Speaking at the event, DC Babila Rakwal stated that the Civic Action Programme is part of a series of efforts under 'Mission Youth' to spread awareness about drug abuse and addiction.

'We need to come together as a society to tackle the problem of drug abuse, especially among our youth. It is our collective responsibility to create a healthy and drug-free environment for the future generation', she said.

As the rally came to a close, Babila Rakwal expressed gratitude to the participants for showing tremendous enthusiasm and support in spreading the message against drug abuse.

ADDC Reasi, Jyoti Salathia; Chief Planning Officer, Sunita Kanchan, and Assistant Commissioner Development, Anirudh Rai along with other district officers were present.
