AAP MP (Rajya Sabha) from Ludhiana Sanjeev Arora along with Kulwinder Singh, Chief General Manager, NTPC Ltd., Sudarshan Sharma Vice President, Amrit Nagpal, Vice President, Prem Gupta Secretary DMCH, Dr Bishav Mohan and others inaugurated a Mobile Van Clinic at Hero DMC Heart Institute here on Friday.
This Mobile Van Clinic has been set up with the support of NTPC Ltd under DMCH outreach programme.Meanwhile, Arora who is also a Member of Governing Board of DMCH for the last around 25 years and is actively attending various meetings related to the health reforms, hoped that the newly launched Mobile Van Clinic will prove a boon for rendering heath care services at doorsteps of needy people.
Arora lauded the DMCH outreach programme and termed it as a good initiative for the needy people seeking heath care services. Also, Arora appreciated good work being done by Doctors and requested then to help in making health care affordable.
He along with others fully examined the newly launched Mobile Van Clinic from inside. He said the Mobile Van Clinic is fully equipped with whatever is required in a clinic, adding, “I’m hopeful that Mobile Van Clinic will achieve success in the near future.”
Arora asked people to get complete benefit of the DMCH Mobile Van Clinic at their doorsteps. He said he would suggest increasing the number of such Mobile Van Clinics in the future if today’s launched Mobile Van Clinic is successful.
He also thanked NTPC Ltd for its support in setting up of Mobile Van Clinic at DMCH, Ludhiana. “This is a very noble work done by NTPC Ltd for the suffering humanity”, he remarked.The newly launched Mobile Van Clinic is equipped with various medical equipment to examine and treat patients suffering from various ailments.
Van also has equipment for instant blood test and mainly will be helpful for women. The hospital’s medical doctors and staff will move out in Mobile Van Clinic to render health care services to people.
