Deputy Commissioner Aashika Jain reviewed the arrangements regarding Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket matches to be held in Mohali and directed the officials to keep full vigilance during these matches. 

During the meeting SSP Dr. Sandeep Kumar Garg gave detailed information about the security arrangements. It is to be noted that the match between Punjab Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders is to be held at 3.30 pm at the Mohali Cricket Stadium on April 1. 

While presiding a high-level meeting regarding the first match match being played at SAS Nagar Cricket Stadium on April 1, Ms. Aashika Jain, instructed the officials not to let any lapse in the arrangements of the cricket match.

She asked the police officials to take utmost care while doing security arrangements. She also directed to maintain law and order during the matches and deal strictly with any kind of hooliganism. 

She also asked to streamline the traffic and provide complete facilities to the people. She said that maintaining peace should be the main priority on this occasion.Ms. Aashika Jain also instructed the fire brigade officers to make necessary arrangements on the spot. 

She asked the officials of the health department to deploy medical teams at the venue so that medical assistance can be provided on the spot in case of any untoward incident.

During this meeting SSP Dr. Sandeep Kumar Garg, Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) Mrs. Amaninder Kaur Brar, Additional Deputy Commissioner(D) Mrs. Avneet Kaur and SDM Mohali Mrs. Sarabjit Kaur, other senior officers of civil and police administration were present.
