117 self-employment cases approved by DC Rajouri under Mission Youth

The District Level Implementation Committee for Mission Youth, chaired by Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Vikas Kundal, met to discuss and approve cases under the Tejaswini scheme today. It is flagship programme of Mission Youth, aims to provide financial assistance to unemployed women for starting their own businesses. 

During the meeting, the committee approved 117 cases, while the Deputy Commissioner emphasised the need for creating awareness about such schemes among the youth and encouraged them to come forward and avail themselves of the benefits.

Tejaswini cases cleared in today’s meeting included 36 cases of Karyana shop, 7 of beauty parlour, 4 boutiques, 3 of cement store, 3 cloth shop, 2 of computer shop, 1 of cyber cafe, 9 of dairy farm, 1 of electrician, 3 of hardware, 1 of photostat, 1 of library, 17 of tailoring shop, 1 of soya paneer unit, 1 of welding shop and 2 of shuttering.

Vikas Kundal stressed the need for creating awareness about the scheme and called upon the youth to come forward and avail themselves of its benefits. He assured them that the government is committed to providing all necessary support for the success of their businesses.

Mission Youth is dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship and self-employment opportunities for young people. One of its initiatives, the Tejaswini scheme, provides women with easy access to funding that they can use to start or grow their own businesses.
