Asia's Largest and famous Tulip garden is set to be thrown open for public on Sunday to kickstart Kashmir’s tourist season as government is expecting a record break visitors this year at the garden.

It is situated at the base of the Zabarwan range, built on a sloping ground in a terraced fashion consisting of seven terraces with an overview of the Dal Lake. Around 16 lakh flowers with 68 tulip varieties mascaras, daffodils and others will be in a full bloom to mesmerize the people.

Last year a record number of tourists visited the garden and administration is expecting huge flow and record break of visitors.The garden is being improved constantly year by year washrooms, water and ATMs have been made available for tourists Said an official from the department.

To avoid congestion the traffic Department has issued traffic plan for visitors to reach the garden, the department also urged people to plan thier trip on other days of the week also.

Pertinently it is mention here that  “Tulip garden is a garden of international standard. In 2015, Canada based Tulip society declared Tulip garden Srinagar as second best garden across the globe,”
