To review the progress of development projects and resolve the problems of the peopel of Kharar constituency Cabinet Minister Anmol Gagan Mann presided over the meeting of officials of various departments at the District Administrative Complex of district SAS Nagar.
On this occasion, the Cabinet Minister said that no stone will be left unturned to make this constituency a model constituency. Kharar city will be made completely clean and beautiful and more saplings will be planted in the city.
She instructed the officials that every single penny of all the schemes should be spent honestly on the people and for the development of the state. She said that she would ensure that there would not be any shortage of funds regarding various schemes and development projects.
The cabinet minister told the officials that a plan should be prepared on a large scale to make Kharar city a model city, even the old and congested streets should be given a good look.The Cabinet Minister reviewed the work being done by Kharar, Kurali and Naya Gaon Municipal Councils.
She also reviewed about health facilities at CKharar and Sante Majra.Cabinet Minister instructed that works related with public toilets, road,Repair work related to storm water pipes, sewerage should be completed on time.
The officials told the cabinet minister that door-to-door garbage collection is going on in all the wards of Kharar. Information about overall waste management was shared. She told the officials that no eligible beneficiary should be deprived of the benefits of any government scheme.
Large size dustbins should be placed at the main points of Kharar city, especially where food shops and street vendors are located.Cabinet Minister Anmol Gagan Mann reviewed the status of various Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) and issued necessary orders.
She also discussed the ways to solve the problems related to water supply.The Cabinet Minister asked the officials to work like a mission with full dedication for the development and solving the problems of the people so that there would be a positive change in the lives of the people.
She also gave instructions to complete the project of building Amrit Sarovars to store rain water in the villages as soon as possible. Also instructed to take appropriate steps for waste management in the villages so that the villages could be made clean and beautiful.
She instructed to carry out cleaning works regarding village ponds and to plant maximum saplings in rural areas. The Cabinet Minister made a detailed study of the health facilities in the Kharar region. Regarding Kurali health centre. she said that no stone will be left unturned to develop this health institution.
She divulged futher that the veterinary hospital will be developed at large scale in Kharar region.During the meeting, she also reviewed the progress of the School of Eminence to be built in the constituency and necessary guidelines were issued.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Mrs. Aashika Jain assured the Cabinet Minister that the instructions issued by her will be implemented and no stone will be left unturned in the development of the district.
On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Mrs. Amaninder Kaur Brar, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Urban Development) Damanjit Singh Mann, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Mrs. Avneet Kaur, SDM Kharar Ravinder Singh and officials of various departments were also present.
