Rajkumar Rao, Pankaj Kapur and Bhumi Pednekar are soon coming up with the social drama film ‘Bheed’ directed by Anubhav Sinha who has given many hit films to industry including Article 15, Thapad, Mulk and more. The first glimpse from the film ‘Bheed’ is out which has become the centre of attention on social media.
The trade expert, analyst, Taran Adarsh shared the first look. Speaking about the visuals, it shows the dark times and struggles of people during the Covid 19 pandemic, how daily wage workers, migrant workers, low class families, all those who didn't have a permanent place to live suffered at the times of lockdown. It shows the challenges they faced and struggles to survive the most difficult times. It also shows the comparison of 2020 pandemic time with the dark times of India-Pakistan partition as narrated by Ashutosh Rana.
The social drama ‘Bheed’ will be presented in black and white format to make it look more impactful to the audience. The film is slated to release on 24 March 2023. ‘Bheed’ is directed by Anubhav Sinha and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Anubhav Sinha and stars Rajkumar Rao, Pankaj Kapur, Bhumi Pednekar, Virendra Saxena, Ashutosh Rana, and Dia Mirza in lead roles. Rajkumar will be portraying the role of a cop whereas Bhumi will be seen as a doctor in the film.
