Observing that close synergy between parents and teachers besides adequate infrastructural facilities were imperative for shaping the destiny of children, especially from early schools, Senior BJP leader Mr Devender Singh Rana today lauded the huge role being played by private schools in supplementing the efforts in providing best possible education even in rural and remote areas.

Calling for frequent teacher-parent interactions to mould young minds towards positive pursuits, Mr Rana said much of the onus lies on academia, which has to strive hard for motivating and preparing their students to achieve academic excellence and to excel in other fields like sports, debates and other extracurricular activities.

He also referred to numerous challenges for harmonious growth of youngsters in this era of stress and strain and said these can be met by providing congenial academic environments. “This is the area where managements have to focus and create a wherewithal that helps in overall development of students”, he said and expressed satisfaction that the RMG International School has risen to the occasion in recent years to have state-of-art infrastructure.

Exhorting the faculty to emphasise on the crucial aspect with a sense of devotion, Mr Rana said that the teachers have to be role model for their taught. “Their role is not of immense importance only in making children academically sound but in influencing their moral and social behaviour as well”, he said adding that the students need lessons of life alongside guidance on the subject matter for becoming useful citizens of tomorrow.

He hoped that the management will maintain pace with modern trends in the field of education so that students find themselves in good stead to face the most competitive age with much more confidence and vigour. He also lauded the parents in discharging their parental responsibilities with a sense of commitment. The management presented the annual report and highlighted distinctions achieved by students in various spheres.
