The raffle draws of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan's Racing Festival for Arabian horses, held at the Sheikh Zayed Festival on Sunday 19th February, attracted a large number of participants of different nationalities. The prizes included a 2023 Nissan, in addition to over 35 other valuable prizes.

Thousands of participants gathered at the Heritage Village Theatre for the raffle draws and were broadcasted live surrounded by the Sheikh Zayed Festival’s delightful atmosphere of festival revellers.Lara Sawaya, Executive Director of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Racing Festival, said that their annual participation in the Sheikh Zayed Festival serves as an inter-generational bridge through which the culture, traditions and heritage of parents and grandparents are passed on to younger generations. 

She added, “Our presence at the Festival for the 13th consecutive year reflects our commitment to raise awareness of the heritage and significance of Arabian horses in the Emirati culture,” she ended.Sawaya added that the pavilion of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Racing Festival is keen to educate everyone on important knowledge and information about Arabian horses, especially the youth who are interested and passionate about equestrian.

She added that the pavilion will give away many valuable prizes to its visitors through numerous draws that take place at various times throughout the Sheikh Zayed Festival’s run, including cars and many others. She noted that the next draw will take place on March 5th and 17th, 2023.

Thousands of visitors flock to the Festival every day to participate in the raffle draws of the Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Racing Festival and to explore the pavilion to learn about the importance of Arabian horses for the Emiratis, especially since the UAE has been active within the equestrian sports community for a long time. Equestrian and horses, in general, play an important part in the nation’s cultural heritage, as both played a major role in the history of the UAE and still does to this day. Horses and equestrian sports will continue to be among the topmost loved activities of the UAE and this passion will go on for generations to come.
