Deputy Commissioner Jammu Avny Lavasa today felicitated 59 youth of C-DYTE centers   selected in Army as Agniveer and as Constable in Border Battalion of J&K, here at a simple but impressive function held in DC Office complex.

While felicitating the youth, the Deputy Commissioner congratulated and conveyed best wishes for their journey of Agniveer and constable in JKP. 

Incharge C-DYTE, Dr. Surinder Kumar apprised the Deputy Commissioner that 14 boys were selected from Suchetgarh, 09 each from Samwan and Pargwal, 07 from Bishnah, 05 from Marh, 02 each from Arnia and Mandal, and 01 each from Khour, Akhnoor and Bhalwal.

The DDC Jammu, who is also the Chairperson of CDYTE, applauded the efforts of the instructors and staff for imparting quality training to the boys & girls and also wished them best for the next scheduled Agniveer and other recruitment rallies in 2023.

The Deputy Commissioner said that C-DYTE (Centre for District Youth Training and Empowerment), is an initiative of District Administration Jammu in collaboration with Mission Youth which is running in different blocks of the district to enhance the academic ability and physical endurance of the enrolled youth.

ADC Adm Sandeep Seinotra, CPO Joginder Katoch Instructors of C-DYTE and other concerned officers were present in the felicitation programme.
