The Vidhaan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan, Minister Anmol Gagan Maan, MLA Kulwant Pandori and MLA Labh Singh Ugoke today paid tributes to the martyrs of Vadda Ghallughara at village Kutba.

Speaking at the event the Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan said that Kutba-Bahmaniya was a historical village where Sikh Army fought against Ahmed Shah Abdali and attained martyrdom. The immense sacrifice of Sikhs can never be forgotten.

Cabinet minister Anmol Gagan Maan said that those were Sikhs who dared to indulge into combat with Abdali's force and lay their lives.MLA Mehal Kalan Kulwant Singh Pandori requested the tourism Minister Anmol Gagan Maan to set up a memorial in memory of martyrs in the village.

He said that no stone will be left unturned to usher in development of this historical village. He added that the work on providing water for irrigation will be done on priority basis and the department is with Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer, who is working tirelessly.

MLA Raikot Hakam Singh Thekedaar, District Planning Committee chairman Gurdeep Singh Batth, SDM Gopal Singh and others also paid tributes.
