Heart Wrenching visuals come from Turkey and Syria where a deadly earthquake hits the region with all its force. Heavenly casualties happened with the locals in the particular region. It is reported that more than 300 people were killed in Turkey and Syria after a 7.8-magnitude earthquake hit early in the morning. And this is considered to be one of the most deadly earthquakes of the century.
According to the US Geological Survey, the earthquake occurred at 04:17 local time at a depth of around 17.9 km, and 15 minutes later, a 6.7-magnitude aftershock occurred. A major industrial city in southern Turkey called Gaziantep is an hour's drive north of Pazarck, according to the disaster management ministry of Turkey, the AFAD. The epicentre of the second tremor was located around 80 km to the southwest of the town of Nurda.
Turkey’s AFAD declared the count of dead people around 76 at least and hundreds of injured during the incident across seven countries in southern provinces. The Health Ministry of Syria said that at least 245 people were killed and hundreds are wounded in the provinces of Aleppo, Tartus, Hama, and Latakia.
The parts of Syria that had already been destroyed by more than ten years of civil conflict were struck by the earthquake in the north of the country. The fighting has already severely devastated the basic infrastructure in the provinces of Idlib and Aleppo. Millions of Syrians who left the conflict in other parts of the nation now reside in the region. Many people reside in refugee camps or modest tented villages built within the olive trees that line the Turkish border.
