Takes stock of pace/ progress of construction on residential quarters

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today visited Liroo area of the district and took stock of the pace and progress made on the construction of Officers Residential quarters here.

The DC was informed that these 06 residential quarters are under execution of JKPCC, involving a project cost of about 14.47 crore. It was intimated that out of 06 blocks, work on 05 blocks is almost complete while the work on another 01 block is going on with full pace.

The DC directed the concerned executing agency to expedite the construction/ finishing work of the quarters so that these are immediately put to use. The DC was accompanied by Senior Superintendent of Police, Sahil Sarangal, ADC, ACR Dy. SP Hq. and other officers and officials.
